The God of the Bible is the only God who wants to be our Father.

 Other religions offer gods who are impersonal or unapproachable.
But the true God is a Father.

“I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God."

Our motivation for turning from sin is God's fatherly love.
  • He knows us like a Father.
  • He loves us like a Father.
  • He knows what’s best for us--like a Father.
But turning from sin doesn’t earn our place in His family—We become His children by believing in Him (another thing that sets Him apart from other gods).

Today let's rest in God's love and let Him Father us.

    Absolutely the truth. No god can even come close to the God of love, mercy and forgiveness. And NO other god gave His Son that we may live.
