God doesn't call everyone to foreign missions, but God calls every Christian to share our faith.
Let me suggest some opportunities you might have overlooked:
1. Email Mission Field - friends and family.
Be deliberate about sending encouraging emails and letting others know you're praying for them.
2. Facebook Mission Field - 1.5 billion active monthly users.
Share Scriptures and encouragement on your wall and message friends to offer prayer and encouragement.
3. Pinterest Mission Field - 250 million monthly users.
While you're pinning your favorite recipes or crafts, take time to pin links to Christian devotions and images. Create a board for that purpose.
Or share your faith on Instagram, Twitter, or YouTube. The internet can be used for great evil, but "where sin increases, grace increases all the more" (Romans 5:20).
There are multiple opportunities on the internet ... and endless opportunities in other ares of our lives to share God's grace. Let's do it!
Have you found unique ways to share your faith? Why not share it in a comment?
Let 1-Minute Bible Love Notes help you in the social media mission field: You'll find inspiring images, interesting quotes, and helpful links on Bible Love Note's FB page and when you share, like and comment, you help Bible Love Notes to expand its presence in the Facebook "mission field." You'll also find hundreds of images and devotions on BLN's Pinterest page. Bible Love Notes also has a presence on Twitter and Instagram. Bible Love Notes is non-for-profit, so whenever you recommend or share Bible Love Note's images and devotions on a social network, you don't need to worry about advertising or requests for donations.

I've been ministering through Facebook. I welcome everyone to come visit our page - Roaring River Baptist Church
ReplyDeleteI invited a woman I only knew through FB who needed encouragement to do a Bible study with me virtually. She enthusiastically accepted, so I set up a private group page for our study. I have been recognizing instances where God is using social media. 😊
ReplyDeleteI have a group on FB that was created to be an inspiration and blessing to everyone where I share sound biblical devotions and articles to hopefully strengthen and encourage others in their walk with Christ. https://www.facebook.com/groups/176612239170556/
ReplyDeleteSo thankful for God allowing me to be a part of His ministry via Facebook. "Fishes And Loaves Living" was created in 2012, bringing daily encouragement with scripture references.
