Do You Believe in Devolution? It's Fact, Not Theory.

Evolution or devolution? One is a fact, one is a weak theory. This 1-minute devotion explains.

Evolution is a theory that claims the world and mankind came from nothing and gradually became better, more complex, and more purposeful.

God doesn't agree. He tells us mankind is devolving, getting weaker and more foolish, sinking deeper into the corruption of sin (Romans 1:18-32).

"For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools." Romans 1:20-22

None of us were present at creation, so Christians can't "prove" God created and evolutionists can't prove their theory.

But the signs of devolution are ubiquitous (everywhere): brokenness, grief, crime, drugs, perversion, oppression, cruelty, and evil of every kind.

We can't stop the process of devolution in the world. But praise God we can stop it in ourselves!

As new creations in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), we can renew, refresh, and reform our minds (Romans 12:1-2)!
