"You're hateful," is the new way to say, "I disagree."
1. Christian views are not hateful.
The Bible warns us of sins that damage our souls. If we believe what Scripture says, we're hateful to remain silent.
2. Negative stereotyping is bigoted.
When people judge Christians by rare bad examples, they're using the same kind of stereotyping used by racists.3. Disagreement and disapproval are part of adult life.
There will never be a harmony of beliefs among the world's inhabitants. Calling someone "hateful" based on their beliefs is truthful only when their beliefs promote actual abuse. Legitimate Christian teachings never promote abuse. Please read Don't Fall for Suicide Propaganda.
4. If disapproving of liberal beliefs and lifestyles is hateful or abusive to those who hold them, then disapproving of Christian beliefs and lifestyles is hateful and abusive to us.
Scripture teaches us to treat others as we want to be treated (Matthew 7:12). But it tells us to refuse to be conformed to cultural values (Romans 12:2; Ephesians 5:8-13).
Do you know why Christian beliefs are called hateful more often than other beliefs?
Islam and Hinduism have far more culturally offensive beliefs and practices, but they aren't nearly as despised as Christianity. The reason: the true and living God will always be a greater threat to unsaved man than the fake gods of other religions.
Jesus was hated when He walked the earth, and His true followers will be hated as well.

It's difficult to be the world's scapegoat, but let's remember the reward of believing, obeying, and sharing God's Word fully without compromise:
Luke 6:22-23: "Blessed are you when people hate you,
when they exclude you and insult you
and reject your name as evil,
because of the Son of Man. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward
in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets."
The unsaved world constantly makes claims that if Christians behaved like Christ we'd be loved and respected. Jesus disagrees:
