"Progressive Christians"(1) claim that Scripture is wrong about human sexuality, biblical womanhood, and hell.
They think Christians for thousands of years have been confused.
They're wrong. God has always been intimately involved in human history. He would never allow His people to believe major errors for thousands of years.
In the Old Testament, when God’s people went through periods of compromise and error, God always sent His prophets. And they never told God's people to accept the values of the world.
Those who remained faithful took the ancient paths.
"This is what the LORD says: 'Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.'" Jeremiah 6:16
And we need to take those ancient paths today, trusting God's design, God's Word, God's commands, and God's ways (Matthew 7:13-14).
The ancient paths are the only ones that lead to Jesus.
