Let Your Heart Be Renewed in Gratitude

Psalm 33 provides 14 reasons why Christians should be grateful. This 1-minute devotion will encourage and inspire you!

Psalm 33 gives us fourteen reasons to be grateful to God:

1. God’s Word holds true (verse 4).
2. He is completely trustworthy (4).
3. He loves justice and goodness (5).
4. His unfailing love fills the earth (5).
5. He is our Creator (6).
6. His words alone create (9).
7. He is against evil plans of men and nations (10).
8. His plans stand firm forever (11).
9. Nations which follow God’s principles are blessed (12).
10. The Lord is in control of the whole earth (13).
11. The Lord sees each man’s heart and understands us (14-15).
12. The Lord watches over those who fear him (18).
13. He saves us from hell (19).
14. He is our hope and shield (20).

There are endless reasons to be grateful to our Lord, but this list is a good beginning.

I encourage you to daily make your own list!

“Yes, the LORD has done amazing things for us! What joy!” Psalm 126:3

  1. I agree. We wear thin under stress. I have to remember it's something we all go thru, and that I am not alone in the suffering. Mine has been a broken wrist, salmonella, respiratory issues. Thanks for sharing. We need reminders that God is doing a deeper work thru these times, as it brings up the dross. Marie

    1. I'm sorry for your problems. I pray you will recover from all of them. Yes! You are so right .... it's important to remember our blessings when we are under stress or going through adversity. That is perhaps the most important time!
      God bless you
