Sometimes God Plans Detours & Delays

Find Out Why Sometimes God Plans Detours & Delays - Exodus 13:17

God is always working in our lives.

He has full knowledge of our hearts and our circumstances, and sometimes He delays or detours our plans for good reasons.

This is an excellent example from Scripture:
"When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, 'If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.'" Exodus 13:17

God didn’t take them on the direct route because they weren’t ready for it.

Likewise, God knows about dangers and distractions in our path that will prevent us from fulfilling His purposes (Ephesians 2:10).

Are you wandering and wondering why your path is long and indirect? Does it seem like you're wasting your time?

If you’ve been obedient to Christ, I encourage you to keep walking. He has good reasons for His detours and delays (Psalm 32:8).

  3. Absolutely loved this above share because I was once at a place in my life where I questioned God all the time. But now I am so thankful and grateful that He never ever left my side. God is still working on me and I am at peace and I trust Him completely with my life.
