1. Celebrates things that break God’s heart.
2. Despises things that cheer God’s heart.
3. Hates genuine Christ-followers who disagree with them (John 15:19-20; 2 Timothy 3:12).
We must prepare for the hatred that is mounting against us, tightly grasping the fact that “the world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever” (1 John 2:17).
We must understand that we're actually blessed when people insult us (1 Peter 4:14). They are allowing us to prove our devotion to Christ (James 1:12). Their hatred also reminds us to pray for those who are suffering worse persecution in other areas of the world (Hebrews 13:3).
Yes, fellow believers, the insults have begun. And many professing Christians are backing down and abandoning the faith. But I'm going to stand with Jesus. 💙 How about you?
Let's memorize Matthew 5:11-12 and recite it whenever we feel overwhelmed:
“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

Bible Love Notes
Thank you for your stand on the Truth of God's Word, and His Kingdom that is above all kingdoms of the earth. In these the last days, last hours, before Christ's return the devil is raging because he knows his time is short! Jesus said 'Let the wicked be wicked, and let the righteous still practice righteousness' at the end of the book of Revelations. In II Thes, 2:9-12 we are shown the keys to 'enduring to the end':
ReplyDeleteThe coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, BECAUSE THEY DID NOR RECEIVE THE LOVE OF THE TRUTH, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (john 14:6) and many time the truth cuts our flesh - but we must love that, like proverbs says, and love discipline, for that is what wise people do.
May I stand firm, be pure, walk in love, and do my kingdom purpose with all my heart, in Jesus Name. Amen!
