You Probably Don’t Remember Me

Psalm 139 says something incredible, and we need to ponder it when we are fearful and when we are joyful! This 1-minute devotion explains.

I’d been in his seminary class with 200 other students, so when I saw the professor several years later, I said:

“You probably don’t remember me, but I’m a former student who thoroughly enjoyed your class on the Book of Acts.”

That phrase—“You probably don’t remember me”—came to mind when I was reading Psalm 139

Why?

Because it tells us that even though we are one in 7.8 billion world inhabitants, God knows our every move, our every thought, our every fear, our every joy.

“You have searched me, LORD, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, LORD, know it completely.”

Dear Christian, we are known. We are loved. We are always in the presence of our loving God.

Ponder that today!
