Do You Know What Jesus Said About Satan's "Native Language"?

Satan has a "native tongue" according to Jesus. This 1-minute devotion explains.

We live in a deceptive world, bombarded by half-truths, editorialized news, and dishonest explanations — and many of these lies target Christians.

Why do you think that is?

First recorded lie in history:

Let's start at the beginning. In Genesis 3:1-7, Eve tells Satan God's warning that she will die if she eats the forbidden fruit. Satan calls God a liar (!) saying, “You won't die!”

Jesus explains Satan's character:

“There is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” John 8:44

Satan's "language lessons":

Satan is busy deceiving the unsaved world, teaching them his "language," and Christians are his greatest enemy.

We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one” (1 John 5:19).

Jesus explains further:

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.John 15:18-19

Satan wants to discredit and silence Christians, but remember this, dear Christians: the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world” (1 John 4:4). Stand firm!

  1. Good teachings, liked it. I think sometimes or the other we do speak satanic language, I mean we had fallen to lies. Pray that God's Holy Spirit to take control of our lives.
