3 Things Maturing Christians Need

“'The first man, Adam, became a living person.' But the last Adam—that is, Christ—is a life-giving Spirit ... Earthly people are like the earthly man, and heavenly people are like the heavenly man. Just as we are now like the earthly man, we will someday be like the heavenly man." 1 Corinthians 15:45-49 NLT

Believers are in process of becoming like Christ, moving from earthly to heavenly.

1. We don't simply need worldly education - we need God's Word (Psalm 19:7-11). 

2. We don't need polishing - we need refining (1 Peter 1:3-9). 

3. We don't need religion - we need relationship (John 17:3).

We decide how quickly we mature. God longs for us to move quickly away from our old self, but we set the pace.
