An Unsigned DaVinci?

Public Domain Wikipedia
I watched an intriguing documentary about "La Bella Principessa,” an unsigned chalk on vellum portrait that could be a 16th Century Leonardo DaVinci work.

The owner purchased it as a 19th Century portrait by an unknown artist for $25,000. Recently, he turned down an opportunity to sell it for $80 million.

Art experts determined the artist was a left-hander with a meticulous anatomic understanding, characteristics DaVinci possessed.

In addition, a fingerprint left when the artist blended the paints resembles a fingerprint from a signed DaVinci painting. But critics are still divided about its authenticity.

On the other hand, we are authentic masterpieces. And the more we allow our Master to leave his fingerprints on us, the more valuable we become!

"For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." Ephesians 2:10 (NLB)
