Imagine This...and Dream

Joseph's dreams, trust God
Imagine you are Joseph
  • Hearing your family mock your dreams
  • Suffering under your brothers’ jealousy until one day they plot your death
  • Watching them count their money as they sell you into slavery
  • Making the best of slavery until you’re falsely accused of rape.
  • Being thrown into prison, forgotten.
  • Forced to spend half of your life away from your family
Most people would become hateful, vengeful, and full of self-pity.

But Joseph kept believing in his dreams.

“His feet were kept in chains, and an iron collar was round his neck, until what he had predicted came true. The word of the LORD proved him right.” Psalm 105:18-19 (GNT)

It’s easy to let difficult circumstances swallow our dreams. I know, I’ve done it.

But Joseph inspires me, and helps me get back on track. How about you…have you given up dreams that God wants you to keep?
Today let’s imagine our dreams fulfilled and trust God to fulfill them!

  1. Hi Gail - so true that 'life' can seem to make it impossible to hold onto your dreams. I know I've given up a few. The key is to keep focus on Christ as Joseph did on the Lord.

  2. So Happy to of found your blog God bless you Girl

  3. great post, Gail! I agree that our lives make it very hard to focus on our dreams. our only focus is to keep our minds and dreams on the lord and savior Jesus Christ the same way Joseph did many years ago! may the Lord bless you in your work!
