Do It Today!

Little Pax before his brush with death
Our tiny grandson in an ambulance…His little chest heaving with retractions… Alarmed faces of paramedics who knew they didn’t have the medicines he needed…

Since we were overseas, we didn’t know about the seriousness of the situation until our grandson recovered.

The day after we discovered how close he’d come to death, I found myself crying throughout the afternoon, grateful to God for giving us more years with little Paxton.

But I also thought of those I know who’ve built walls between themselves and loved ones. They may think they have lots of time to work things out, but they may only have a year, a month or a day.

Is there a relationship you’ve put on the shelf even though it needs your time, effort, repentance, forgiveness, or explanation? If so, ask God’s help to do something about it today.

“Teach us how short our life is, so that we may become wise” Psalm 90:12 (GNT)
