Nativity in a Trunk

I love old trunks, and I have an extensive collection (read more HERE). And one fun thing about trunks is using them to decorate for the holidays.  This year I put a nativity in one of my trunks.

This trunk has two trays in it, so it was easy to empty the smallest tray and put it on top. Because I use my trunks for storage throughout the year, this was easier than emptying the entire trunk.

I lined this trunk with a soft blue brocade fabric years ago, and it is the most formal looking of my trunks. So I thought it was fitting for this sheer cloth and nativity.

This trunk currently sits in my dining area near my entry area.
