I discovered that:
- 90% of the hair on our heads is growing; 10% is resting.
- We average 100,000 hairs on our head, approximately 1000 per square inch of scalp.
- Blondes may not have more fun, but natural blondes have more hair than people with other colors.
- Hair grows faster than any other body tissue, except bone marrow.
- The average life of a hair is 4-7 years.
“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:29-31

Have you read about the time a dermatologist told me I might lose all of my hair? Read it HERE.

Great post. I like it to read about hair ;-)
ReplyDeleteGood post.
ReplyDeleteI'm a hairdresser, so of course I had to come read this one. Love it! Thanks for the great verse. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Gail - such a great reminder that there is NOTHING God does not know about us. Thanks for linking up and looking forward to seeing you there next week :)
ReplyDeleteGod bless
Tracy
I have a lot of thick hair and I am not blond nor ever have been, lol, so I had to read what you said. I liked your facts about hair and how you contrasted them with God knowing how many hairs are on our head.
ReplyDeleteThanks
Funny about blonds having more hair. I watch three little girls from 2 different families and they are all blond. They also have less hair than other little girls their age. In fact most children I have ever known that are blond usually have less hair. I wonder if what you were reading was referring to adults.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting! I am a brunette with thin hair, so it makes sense! Thanks so much for sharing at Wednesday's Adorned From Above Blog Hop.

Interesting info on hair.. I think I have
ReplyDeletemore hair per sq inch than most. I've been
thinning it out my entire life or it
looks like a bush, although I do love
my hair I spend much too much time
trying to tame it..
Good post
